When it comes to the crypto market, the matter is always evolving, with new coins regularly being released. Most you'll never hear of, swallowed up in the masses.

But a few like $Trump, aka OFFICIAL TRUMP, have the distinct advantage of being launched by a celebrity as big as President Donald J. Trump just days before his second inauguration, creating buzz like we've never seen before.

While the verdict's still out as to this alt coin's long-term value, the top crypto casinos are expert at identifying potential. That's why Stake, Shuffle, and BC.Game were amongst the leaders and trendsetters, quick to add $Trump to their offering.

This of course allows you to deposit, bet, and withdraw in $Trump, giving you something to do with this very niche meme coin, beyond collecting memorabilia.

What Is the Trump Coin Anyhow?

The Trump coin, aka $Trump or OFFICIAL TRUMP (to differentiate it from unaffiliated, similar predecessors), is a meme coin that was launched on January 17, 2025. It is the one and only official Trump meme coin. A decentralised cryptocurrency, it was created by CIC Digital LLC alongside Fight Fight Fight LLC, and backed by the US President himself, Mr. Donald J. Trump.

trump-meme-coinMoreLess

This authorised connection between the President and the alt coin was made crystal clear in a post by @realDonaldTrump on Twitter (aka X) on January 18, 2025 in which he announced the arrival of the Trump meme, and invited followers to get it and in doing so join what he called "my very special Trump Community".

He made a similar announcement, by the way, on his Truth Social account that same day.

The goal in joining this community, according to the official TRUMP website is to "Celebrate our win & have fun". The site then goes on to state that

"Trump Memes are intended to function as an expression of support for, and engagement with, the ideals and beliefs embodied by the symbol "$Trump" and the associated artwork, and are not intended to be, or to be the subject of, an investment opportunity, investment contract, or security of any type."

A number of meme coins (like Dogecoin and Shiba Inu) started out as jokes but gained real value due to community support, speculation, and social media hype. So, while the minting of TRUMP isn't a gag (though some might argue a stunt), it may well be playing off the same kind of viral attention, and staying power potential.

warning iconIt's important to note, that while numerous Trump-related meme coins or "Trump coins" have popped up in the crypto space before, typically to capitalise on his name recognition, until this one, i.e. $Trump, these tokens weren't linked to The Don himself, rather were used as a way to attract attention and generate hype around certain crypto projects.

How Did $Trump Come About - A Short History of the Meme Coin

Although there have been other Trump meme coins floated before, OFFICIAL TRUMP is the one we're talking about here.

It was released days before Donald J. Trump was sworn in a second time, as the 47th President of the United States on January 20, 2025.

Trump Coin CardThe image on the coin is that of the President himself with a raised fist, as seen following his assassination attempt on July 13, 2024, when he immediately had the presence of mind to utter his now famous battle cry: "FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT".

Buying this coin is considered a way to identify with the community that this message speaks to, as well as owning a piece of history, and celebrating the man and what has come to be seen as his never back down spirit.

Like most crypto coins, this one is being released in phases, starting with 200 million on the first day, and capped at 1 billion over a 36-month emission schedule.

While the price initially went up from $7 to $74 virtually overnight - becoming the 19th most valuable crypto within just two days of its launch and reaching a $10 billion market value1 - it quickly went down right after, though it still maintains a decent value at last look.

info iconTwo days after the President released his meme coin, on January 19, 2025, his wife Melania, released her own, called $Melania. While we haven't found this one at any online casinos so far, time will tell. However, after its initial spike to $13.63 MELANIA fell to $1.40 within about three weeks of its launch, which isn't a great indicator of positive traction ahead.

How to Buy $Trump Token?

  • binance-logo
  • bitpanda-logo
  • Exodus Logo

Note: It is said that while 200 million coins were initially released and will peak at 1 billion, 80% of Trump coins are controlled (i.e. essentially owned) by Trump related businesses and entities.

How much is the $Trump coin worth?

A meme coin is a cryptocurrency that is based on an internet meme or has some other humorous characteristic. The term is often used interchangeably with "shitcoin" (pardon our language) which refers to a cryptocurrency with little to no value or utility.

That being said, a meme coin can go on to have real value, like the example of Dogecoin which we brought above.

Also, when you have uses like online gambling for an alt coin, it starts to have more real-world value. Hence when we see TRUMP added to the casino wallet at the top crypto casinos online, we  understand that at least for now, it's worth something in the real world too.

So how much is it worth? That's subject to change. But you can watch it live at any moment to see its value against any other currency you're interested in.

Like all cryptos, the value of $Trump to the dollar fluctuates around the clock.

How to Use $Trump at an Online Casino

If you'd like to use your $Trump coin for anything beyond memorabilia, you can, as we've determined use it for gambling online.

To do so, you obviously need to find an online casino that accepts it, which as we illustrated in our recommended TRUMP casinos above, is actually quite easy, and more prolific than you'd imagine.

And since the Trump coin is the same as any crypto at the end of the day, using it as a payment method for online gambling is going to be exactly as you're familiar with. That is, you:

  • Log in to the casino
  • Go to your casino wallet
  • Choose TRUMP from the dropdown list
  • And follow the onscreen instructions from there

Once you make the transaction, you will have the money available in your casino account for gambling. Use it to place bets and enjoy the thrill. Then once you're ready, you'll cash out in $Trump as well, in the exact same, easy manner.

$Trump Casino Banking Limits - Minimum and Maximum Cashouts

There are three main reasons why people like crypto gambling so much.

  1. The first, is the obvious one in that it gives them a practical way to use their crypto, like a fiat, and actually buy something. In this case, coins to play with at an online casino, and gamble for real money.
  2. The second is the relative anonymity of crypto as a payment method; and as an aside, sometimes more laxed account verification processes.
  3. And third, the question at hand, the matter of limits. That is how much you can deposit and withdraw at a time.

stake casino logoStake casino, for example, has no minimum limit on deposits (though it does have a really low minimum for cashouts), and no maximums period. So that means that you can deposit or withdraw as much $Trump as you please.

BC.Game for its part has the same structure, as does the other top crypto casino Shuffle.

In other words, you're going to find the flexibility of banking with OFFICIAL TRUMP exceptional, whatever amount you're willing to front, and however much you want to cash out, even if you're so lucky as to hit a huge payday.

$Trump Casino Banking Timeframes

Another common question around any banking method is that of the processing timeframe.

Solana CoinAs a token that is built on the Solana blockchain, part of $Trump's appeal is the network's known performance which includes high speed trades that make for efficient transactions.

Since the decentralised blockchain network is active 24/7, including weekends and holidays, transactions can be completed at any time, without the bureaucracy of banks or other banking systems to slow you down.

This means that at any hour of the day, you'll be able to buy or sell $Trump, and just as easily conduct transactions to and from your casino account. Once you do, they should be very quick, generally completed within a matter of minutes, like with any other reputable crypto currency.

What Are the Pros and Cons of $Trump Casinos?

As a new and very volatile alt coin from day one, there is a lot of legitimate questions around $Trump. That being said, aside from investment purposes, some people like to collect meme coins out of interest's sake, identifying with the image, so the long-term exchange rate for them is of less concern.

And sometimes, let's not forget, meme coins do take off - like Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, and Bonk - which all also by the way, can be used at Shuffle casino.

However, since we're making a pros and cons consideration for the use of $Trump for casino gambling, the following is how we see the full picture.

Hits:Misses:
  • Great real-world use of $Trump
  • Shows the casino is super up-to-date
  • Facilitates very fast transactions
  • Often lower transaction fees
  • Eligible for any relevant bonuses
  • No max limit on deposits or withdrawals
  • Still very new
  • High fluctuation in terms of the exchange rate
  • Few online casinos accept $Trump
  • Considered somewhat controversial and political

Do I Need to Verify My Account When Playing at a $Trump Casino?

Another thing that's important to point out is that although crypto gambling was once associated with more laxed KYC process, things have changed.

Due to the evolution of the industry, and in-kind tightening licensing requirements, most reputable casinos will require account verification for cashing out cryptos like $Trump as much as fiats.

verification iconStake, for example, officially requires standard account verification documents to process your first withdrawal, while Shuffle softens that with a clause reserving the right to request.

In our opinion, whatever the timeframe of the casino's request, account verification is something that you should do early on, as it's a process in place to protect players at the end of the day, and a standard requisite of licensed, fair operators.

How Does the Volatility of $Trump Impact My Online Gambling Experience?

The volatility of cryptocurrencies like $Trump can significantly influence online gambling in several ways. For your purposes, as a player, these include:

  • performance iconValue fluctuations. The value of cryptocurrencies can change rapidly, affecting the real-world value of deposits, winnings, and account balances. This may be even more true for one like $Trump which is still in its early days, seeing a meteoric initial rise and just as quick drop. Such a sudden drop in value, if maintained long-term, could mean that your winnings are worth less than they were when you won (or your money as a whole when you deposited). However, on the positive side, a surge in value could make winnings worth significantly more.
  • money bagRisk management. $Trump coin's volatility adds another layer of risk to gambling. You need to consider not only the odds of the game, but also the potential that the value of your cryptocurrency will fluctuate, adding another dimension of the risk-reward equation to navigate (beyond your standard bankroll management).
  • time is moneyStrategic timing. Savvy players may try to time their deposits and withdrawals to coincide with favourable market conditions, but this requires market knowledge and adds complexity to the gambling experience. Some people are obviously better equipped to do this than others. The question, of course, is, are you?
  • strategyPsychological impact. The emotional rollercoaster of cryptocurrency price swings can add stress and excitement to online gambling, potentially influencing your behaviour. As such, you'll need to try and quiet the noise, to keep your decisions and senses sharp.

casino iconFor the casino itself, by the way, there are also operational challenges involved. For example, casinos that hold significant amounts of cryptocurrency are exposed to market risk. They need to manage their cryptocurrency reserves carefully to mitigate potential losses from price drops. And with an unknown like $Trump this can be even more difficult for them.

Donald Trump's History with Casinos

Since we're interested in all things gambling here, it's worth remembering that in addition to creating a crypto coin that can be used for online betting, Trump has a rich history with the casino industry. In fact, Trump Entertainment Resorts, Inc. under his stewardship, was all about the gambling and hospitality business.

His connection with casinos actually goes way back to the 1980s when he began buying properties along the Atlantic City boardwalk, and in March 1982 received a New Jersey Casino Control Commission (CCC) casino license. He went on to open the Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino, Trump's Castle Hotel Casino (later renamed Trump Marina), and the most extravagant of the lot, the Trump Taj Mahal.

Donald TrumpHis time in the casino industry, with its huge ups and eventual fall, played a significant role in shaping his public persona as a businessman. Despite the financial failures and eventual loss of his Atlantic City casinos, Trump's brand as a "high roller" and luxury businessman persisted thereafter. The casino ventures contributed to his public image of wealth and success, even though they were marred by controversy and bankruptcy.

In many ways, the casinos helped build the larger-than-life persona that Trump later used to propel his fame, especially when he transitioned into reality television with The Apprentice, and later of course, to President.

Donald Trump's Support of Online Gambling

While he has not been directly involved in running a casino since his Atlantic City days, his past investments in the industry remain a part of his business legacy.

After assuming his initial presidency, Trump's connection to casinos and gambling came up again when discussions about legalised sports betting and online casinos arose.

Additionally, Trump has shown support for expanding gambling in a number of ways. For instance, while he was President, he voiced his support for legalised sports betting. Furthermore, or perhaps so much so, that under his administration, the U.S. Supreme Court's decision in 2018 allowed states to legalise sports betting, which was previously banned outside of Nevada.

gambler-4-64x64.pngAnd now since he's reassumed office, and visited a Las Vegas casino within less than a week following his inauguration, there is a lot of buzz as to the support it's anticipated he'll show the gaming industry, including many assume a drive to legalise online gambling.2

Trump's Attitude Towards Crypto

Donald Trump's stance on cryptocurrency has been somewhat mixed and evolving over time.

During his first presidency (2017-2021), he wasn't particularly vocal about crypto in a policy-driven sense.

In fact, in 2019, he made it clear that he wasn't a fan of Bitcoin or other digital currencies, even tweeting:

"I am not a fan of Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies, which are not money, and whose value is highly volatile and based on thin air."

In that tweet, he pointed out that Bitcoin isn't "money" and mentioned the volatility that comes with crypto, which is a common critique. Furthermore, back then, Trump was consistently a strong advocate for the U.S. dollar. He often emphasized the importance of maintaining the dollar's dominance in global finance and, as such, was less supportive of decentralised digital currencies that could challenge the dollar's position.

In his 2024 run for President, however, he took a totally different stance. His ultimate victory, in a bullish market, and based on rhetoric leading up to this win, came with expectations that he'd either minimise or eliminate regulations around digital assets.

cryptocurrenciesIn fact, once in office already in January 2025, one of the first things he did was sign an executive order promoting the advancement of cryptocurrencies in the United States, and expressing his interest in developing a national stockpile of digital assets.

This echoes the hopes of many that he'll wear amongst other "hats" that of a crypto President. With the release of OFFICIAL TRUMP and his repeated tweets promoting it, we'd say that's not an unlikely scenario.

Controversies and Questions Around the Trump Crypto Coin

A sitting President can't release a very profitable digital asset without any controversy, even if it was technically (a few days) before assuming office. Rather, it's undoubtedly highly unusual to downright controversial that he did such a thing. And for a number of reasons.

First of all, some simply worry that this is what's called a pump and dump scheme.3 That is, a scenario in which insiders are able to inflate the value of an asset by holding the majority and then selling off quickly to investors, who then experience a crash in value.

This theory is supported by the fact that some 80% of the coin's ownership is held by entities affiliated with Trump, which too is an obvious ethical concern. After all, there are questions as to whether or not a sitting President can hold such business interests, enrich himself, and some would say exploit followers to buy from him while in office.

trump-coin-distributionDistribution of the $TRUMP coin.MoreLess

Others have similarly questioned if it's not a classic rug pull at work, in which a coin is released and then abandoned quickly thereafter, leaving steep losses to early investors in its wake.

Also, some crypto leaders and investors see this move of releasing a coin that's both extremely speculative as well as inherently volatile, as undermining the industry's credibility.4

Furthermore, there are some serious conflict of issues involved here. Beyond financial gain by the President, some worry foreign governments and hostile entities could purchase this meme coin in order to buy favour with Trump. This makes sense of course, since again, with 80% of its value held by his entities, he has a lot to gain financially. In fact, billions of dollars were "made" in the first few days, though this coin's history is still emerging.

Finally, there has been some speculation that early investors may have been tipped off5 prior to its launch, giving select people an edge in buying and quickly selling off at a significant profit. Who these people are and why he'd want them to profit so much is of course also of legitimate interest, if true.

What's in the Future for OFFICIAL TRUMP?

No one can say what's in the future of Bitcoin for sure, so less so when it comes to an unproven meme coin like $Trump.

It certainly started off with a bang and a meteoric rise, but almost as quickly settled down to a more realistic trading value. That is, since its launch, within a single month it went from $7 up to $74, and at the time of writing this $Trump review, has found itself somewhere in the $20 range. This of course may be obsolete by the time you read as well.

Hence, it's impossible to know where its value will go. There is certainly a lot of skepticism and cynicism around the Trump coin, but that doesn't mean it isn't here to stay. There is just no of knowing where the crypto market is going as a whole, and which alt coin will take.

$Trump Casino FAQs

Although $Trump is relatively new, it is a crypto currency (which is not a new concept), and is handled in a similar manner by online casinos, no matter which coin you're using. That being said, we get that there's a lot of buzz and curiosity around the novelty factor, which is why we've delved in a bit deeper to discover any hidden angles, and tips.

  1. Is the $Trump coin a legitimate currency?
  2. Can I use $Trump to actually buy anything?
  3. Do casinos accept $Trump transactions?
  4. Is it legal to gamble with $Trump?
  5. Are there any fees involved with $Trump casinos?
  6. Can I get a $Trump welcome bonus at an online casino?
  7. Is the Trump Coin a reliable bet or is it too volatile?
  8. Will online casinos continue working with TRUMP?

1.) Is the $Trump coin a legitimate currency?

Yes. Although some will say the Trump coin is a cash grab at its core, it is still 100% legit. That is, it is a real coin, minted on the Solana network, traded on various crypto exchange platforms, and accepted as a currency for gambling at select online casinos.

True, there were other meme coins created before $Trump that were not legit, as in associated in anyway with the president. But the $Trump asset released in January 2025, is the real deal, endorsed by the President as an official Trump product.

2.) Can I use $Trump to actually buy anything?

The Trump coin is still very new, so we're only just figuring out its value and staying power. That being said, almost from day one, it had real world use, integrated in the wallet service of a number of clever crypto casinos like Stake, Shuffle, and BC.Game.

Beyond that, we don't know of anything else that you can actually, physically purchase with $Trump. But so it is with crypto in general, that while very popular for investment purposes, isn't all that easy to spend.

3.) Do casinos accept $Trump transactions?

In case you're just skimming the questions in this section, we'll reiterate, that yes, there are a number of online casinos that accept OFFICIAL TRUMP for transactions. These are obviously only going to be crypto casinos, as this is a digital currency. But as far as we know, the top crypto casinos rushed to add it to their cashier service, almost as soon as it was launched.

You could say this was a great gimmick, cashing in on the buzz around the coin launch and the President's inauguration. Or you could say a smart business move for the exact same reasons.

4.) Is it legal to gamble with $Trump?

Yes, of course it's legal to gamble with the new Trump coin. That is, it's legal to gamble at any online casino that is licensed and offers $Trump as a payment method. Simple as that.

5.) Are there any fees involved with $Trump casinos?

All blockchain transactions are subject to fees, though the Solana network tends to have lower ones than others.

In general, what you'll find in terms of transactions when using $Trump at an online casino is that the operator will cover the blockchain fee on your deposits, and you will have to cover the fee when you go to cash out. This is a fair divide in our opinion, as it's essentially like splitting the bill.

6.) Can I get a $Trump welcome bonus at an online casino?

Sure, you can get a $Trump welcome bonus at various online casinos. At Shuffle for example, as far as we know, Trump coin qualifies for claiming its 100% up to $1,000 welcome offer. And while Stake doesn't have a welcome bonus in wide release, our readers can get a 100% up to $500 welcome bonus there as well by entering the promo code "casinoguide" when you make your first deposit.

Those are just a few examples, of course. Each crypto casino has its own welcome bonus and associated policy, that generally, if its working with $Trump, will include it as an eligible currency for the offer.

7.) Is the Trump Coin a reliable bet or is it too volatile?

As we're not crypto experts or financial advisors, we cannot tell you whether or not it's good to invest in $Trump in the first place. You need to look at things like your internal reasoning in doing so, appetite for risk, industry forecasts, and so forth to decide.

In general, for those who invest, there's no such thing as too volatile. Again, that's going to be a relative thing, and up to you to navigate the ups and downs of the market according to your goals.

That being said, there is no denying that $Trump has been highly volatile from day one. Many cryptos, mind you are even after many years, including the daddy of them all, Bitcoin.

So take the concept of volatility as one factor, but definitely take that into account, especially when gambling online, because as you're busy playing, the value of your $Trump holdings can definitely fluctuate a lot.

8.) Will online casinos continue working with TRUMP?

There is no way for us to know if the Trump coin will go the distance and last even the year; though we assume it will. And we cannot, in kind, possibly predict if online casinos will continue offering it throughout the President's term, and beyond.

For now, however, it has undeniably made forays into the world of online gaming, which is an impressive step for such a new coin. And a definite advantage for its holders.

The Expert Conclusion on $Trump Casinos

You might say, like Donald John Trump himself, the coin created in his likeness is highly volatile - as in impulsive explosive, and unpredictable. Some love that flavour of this new meme coin (as they do in the man), and for that reason alone have invested in it. Other perhaps bought it to see if they'll get lucky and collect on a windfall through trades. And still others perhaps think it has a great future, long into and beyond this Presidency.

Whatever your reasons, the reality is for now, in addition to adding another asset to your portfolio, $Trump gives you another medium for gambling online. So if you already have some in your crypto wallet, know that beyond a potential investment or bit of memorabilia, this digital coin is also a great way to fund your casino account, and collect on your winnings.
