If you have been following our reviews of casino streamers here at Casino.Guide, you may have noticed a repeated theme. True, there is the obvious one, that the streamers who have really popped on the scene are all male and predominantly young. But that's not the one we are talking about.

There is another trend that can be spotted, and that is many, though not all, originally became social media stars through other pursuits. Some like the Nelk Boys were already wildly popular for their prank-pulling antics before moving to slots streaming. And numerous others like Félix Lengyel, a.k.a. xQc or xQcOW, were known as a dominating force on the Twitch eSports scene.

Yassuo, the subject of this review, is of the latter path. That is, he spent a number of years honing his streaming skills in various eSports pursuits, especially League of Legends, before taking the casino streaming world by storm too - first playing at places like Rollbit, but now clearly onboard with the Stake casino team.

Highly engaging, yet relatively mild tempered compared to some of the other Twitch stars out there, let's have a look at who he is, and what all the buzz around him is about.

General Information about Yassuo

As a guy who basically grew up in front of the cameras, having live streamed since his adolescence starting in 2016, there is plenty of information on Mohammad (Moe) Abdalrhman, better known to us as Yassuo. Of course, you would have to be a particularly avid fan in order to have caught it all, since this has been a full-time pursuit of his for many years. But we don't need to know every detail of his life in order to enjoy his style of entertainment. For our purposes, we will just cover the basics.

arrowSo to begin with, Moe was born in June 1999 in New York, New York. An American citizen himself, he is the son of Palestinian immigrants. At some point he moved to Mexico for a bit, but these days he is apparently back in the US of A.

Other personal details known about him include the fact that he has an older brother and a younger sister, and for a long while a girlfriend named Bella, though at last check they had officially called things off. However, as young love goes, things on this front can of course easily change, so we'd say stay tuned.

yassuo-family-ny©twitter.com/Yassuo | There is not much information about Yassuo's family on the internet. Just some little hints that they still live in New York, where he grew up.MoreLess

League of LegendsAs for how he became a professional gamer. Well, like many young men of a certain age, he loved video games, and originally began streaming for the fun of it to entertain himself. However, as is the nature of these things, when you are good, you are good, and you will get noticed. And over time, he picked up a following, and made the move to full time streaming as an actual career choice.

At first, his parents were not thrilled at the prospect of this professional pursuit. But as it became clear that a) with the time investment and dedication involved it is actually a fairly serious job and b) one can earn a VERY good living doing so, they came to support it.

As to what Moe is known for playing, he started out with League of Legends - the online battle arena game by Riot Games. After playing on his own for some time, he went on to collaborate with Counter Logic Gaming and then the 100 Thieves team, which he joined in August 2019 and with whom he continues to play with to this day.

info iconInteresting note: If you were wondering how Moe became Yassuo onscreen that is easy enough. He called himself this after the Yasuo character in his favourite League of Legends game.

While League of Legends is his clear favourite, he is also known to stream other eSports titles like VALORANT (the first-person shooter game), Apex Legends (another hero shooter game), Teamfight Tactics, and Call of Duty: Warzone. In other words, while he does play other games, they are all of a similar genre, which is clearly his thing.

stake casino logoOther than that, he has developed one major public interest for which we are here. And that needless to say is casino streaming, which he started out doing from Rollbit, but as he makes abundantly clear, he is now 100% a Stake casino guy.

Yassuo Awards - Nominations and Wins

Winning awards is always nice. And even being nominated is flattering. But in the world of Twitch streaming and social media influencer stardom, it is by no means the be all and end all. Nor particularly a measure of success.

The big audiences they attract, plus the cash they roll in, is certainly plenty of compensation, and a form of recognition, such that they don't so much need an official stamp of approval. Though we could say the same of musicians and Grammys or movie stars and the Oscars. But again, this is a different arena, so not quite as high value, we think.

esports iconThat being said, we know that there are plenty of readers who enjoy following these things. And even if not that meaningful, probably exciting for the streamers themselves when they happen. So what we can say in the case of Yassuo is that as far as we can dig up, he has not won any awards per se. Though he has won plenty of tournament prizes.

How Yassuo Made the Choice to Gamble Exclusively at Stake

These days, based on the number of popular eSports stars who have expanded into the world of online gambling, it seems like an obvious path. Though it is not entirely clear to us how it happens. In other words, whether the streamer is recognised for his talent and audience drawing power and approached by the casino, or if there is a natural overlap in interests with someone who loves say shooter games naturally gravitating to the thrills associated with online gambling.

casino streamerWhichever it is, like numerous before him, Yassuo has for a number of years now been live streaming casino gambling, in addition to his main pursuit of League of Legends play.

When he first began with this, he was apparently doing so for Rollbit, a popular casino known for its promotions and large game offering. More recently, however, he has moved over to where pretty much all of the big names in slots streaming can be found, and that is, of course Stake casino.

And although Stake accommodates crypto gambling, including Moe's preferred currency to play in, ETH, we are guessing this is not the main reason why he has chosen to gamble here. In fact, we do not have to guess about his motivations at all, as he has made clear that there is a financial relationship at play.

That is, that the casino is paying him a promotional fee for playing exclusively at Stake. His betting, however, according to Moe, is fully self-funded. So when he bets high, he is putting his own personal cash at risk, and is not compensated by the casino - keeping things more authentic, and fun.

yassuo-stake-preview©twitch.tv/yassuo | Yassuo can be found live streaming on Twitch almost every day of the week, where he entertains his audience with his commentary, chats, and devoted play.MoreLess

Whether Yassuo is paid a monthly sum, or a referral fee, or both is anyone's guess. Though we would lean heavily towards the referral fee, as there has been quite some talk as to how much money the partnership with Yassuo has pulled in for Stake in terms of deposits using his promo code.

Yassuo's Favourite Casino Games

The most popular type of game at a casino are slots, and so it comes as no surprise that Yassuo, like all the other streamers we know of, spends the majority of his time playing these machines.

He does not have just one slot game he focuses on, he rather tends to play some of the more popular games around such as Wanted – Dead or a Wild, Book of Shadows, Wild Frames, The Dog House, Fruit Party, Gates of Olympus, and more.

Yassuo, like most professional streamers, spends a fair bit of time at the slots

However, he is in no way a one trick pony. And there is no way he could keep up the interest – either his own or his audience's, by sticking to just one category. As a result, he also tends to take advantage of the best Stake has to offer playing original crypto games like Plinko, or always-engaging classics like Blackjack Live or Live Roulette.

In fact, he is pretty eclectic in his play, jumping all over the place and featuring rounds on a large number of different games in any given session. This bouncing around could be due to his own attention span or his desire to keep us entertained. Either way, it has been working for him.

Stake ETH in Play

Of the various cryptocurrencies accepted at Stake, Yassuo favours ETH.

As for which currency he uses, from what we have seen he is an Ethereum (ETH) guy, for betting purposes at least.

Despite being an avid gambler himself, it is important to point out that Moe is not necessarily a fan of the format for others, recognising that not everyone has the taste for risk or bankroll that he does. Or the actual income he gets from casino streaming, even if he loses.

As such, while he does regularly stream his Stake gambling pursuits, he has been known to make rather colourful comments warning potential gamblers away. We won't share his expletives on the issue here though, since his track-record shows he isn't actually looking to deter anyone.

When and Where Does Yassuo Stream?

Twitch LogoNeedless to say, while he does have regular content featured on other social media platforms, Moe exclusively live streams his sessions on Twitch. In general, he is a rather committed streamer, doing sessions most days of the week and for numerous hours straight. He has plenty of stamina.

Most often, he gets started in the evening, though on Sundays, he often goes live more midday. You can always have a look at his Twitch schedule if you want to make sure in advance that you will be tuned in to a session you want, as he usually updates there.

How Much Experience Does Yassuo Have with Casino Streaming?

While Yassuo starting his Twitch channel years ago, at the time he was a mere teenager, hence not even eligible to gamble. Also, crypto gambling, which is what we have found all streamers do, didn't yet exist.

Rather, it was only a few years later, in 2021, as the crypto gambling trend took off on Twitch that he too began featuring such sessions. And now, like many of the most-trafficked streamers on Twitch, he too is a regular at the crypto slots.

In terms of actual expertise with casino gambling now taking a more central role in his streams, Moe has been increasingly improving his style ever since he wholeheartedly  moved to Stake. And thanks to his appetite for risk and a bankroll to support it, he has gotten quite good at the format - though obviously, not always winning.

Yassuo on Social Media

These days, in order to maximise your reach, if you want to attain true influencer status, you need to invest. And by that we mean, you need to be active. Very active. Across numerous social media platforms.

Yassuo, of course, knows this, as he has been at it since adolescence. And over the years he has built a strong following on the different channels, some to more and some to lesser success. Here is a summary of where you can find him, and the basics you can expect.

  1. Yassuo on Twitch
  2. Yassuo on YouTube
  3. Yassuo on Twitter
  4. Yassuo on Instagram
  5. Yassuo on TikTok
  6. Yassuo on Discord

Yassuo on Twitch

Coming in at 2 million followers, Yassuo has a huge audience on Twitch. Far larger than other famous casino streamers like Roshtein and ClassyBeef, for sure, though admittedly not even close to Adin Ross at 6 million, or xQc at 10.9 million and growing.

The type of content you can find here is a mixed bag. Many people still tune in to watch him playing League of Legends, and are often disappointed to see that increasingly he always incorporates some casino gambling in these sessions too. On the flip side, we as casino fans love this.

yassuo-twitch-broadcasts©twitch.tv/yassuo | Best known for live streaming on Twitch, this is probably the best place to catch Moe in action, especially if you want to watch him play at Stake.MoreLess

There has been some protest as of late surrounding the move of so many popular Twitch streamers to casino gambling, as there are many adolescents in particular who tune in. As a result, almost all of Yassuo's streams are rated 18+, and he often offers a reminder of the need for responsible gambling. Plus, there's a link to BeGambleAware from his profile. So kudos to him for that.

Yassuo on YouTube

The other place where Yassuo is particularly big is on YouTube. On his main channel, self-titled Yassuo, he has 1.49 million subscribers. There you can find all sorts of footage from his varied pursuits, including best-of compilations. Since joining in May 2016, he has garnered an astonishing 600 Million views there.

yassuo-youtube-channels©youtube.com/c/Yassuo | Though he has numerous YouTube accounts, his main one operating under his own name is by far the most popular.MoreLess

But unsurprisingly, he does not suffice with one channel alone. Rather, in a quest to more aptly accommodate an international crowd, he also has an Arabic language YouTube version of his main channel, a Chinese version, and a Spanish version, although none of these come even close to his main channel's numbers.

info iconThere is also a Yassuo Gambling channel, though it's no longer updated, as is evident in his profile picture there, which still promotes Rollbit rather than Stake. And there is the Life of Moe channel, which is more lifestyle and shenanigans type of stuff, which is a nice way to see another side of him.

Yassuo on Twitter

Moe @Yassuo has been active on Twitter since August 2016. In his short self-summary there he writes: "@100Thieves, Content Creator, I make YouTube videos and stream on Twitch". Not very specific mind you, but the 421.5K people who follow him on Twitter are likely doing so because they are already familiar with his activities, so no explanations required.

As for what he shares there, some Tweets include promoting his streams on Stake, but just as many are Tweets on his other endeavours including things like a little Gucci modelling gig he's done. He also shares tidbits from his life, including pics with his pups.

yassuo-gucci©twitter.com/Yassuo | Moe is a man of style, which he is proud to display in this Gucci deal.MoreLess

Not all that shy to let his opinions be known, he occasionally shares other people's Tweets that reflect his own political views, for example anger at recent massacres in American schools or how he felt about the overturning of Roe vs. Wade.

Yassuo on Instagram

So you have followed him on Twitch and Twitter, and subscribed on YouTube, what could possibly be the need for Instagram too, you may wonder. Well, this is a place where his content actually differs a bit, thanks to the medium which is mostly about pics.

Most of his shots here are of a professional level and tend to be focussed close-ups either of him alone, sometimes showing off a fashion brand he is collaborating with, or his dogs, or beautiful girls, or once in a blue moon, his mom. You know, the usual things that you would expect from a young, male, influencer with a big social media following.

yassuo-instagram-1©instagram.com/yassuo | Following Yassuo on Instagram gives you a window into his private life. You can see what he is wearing, who he is hanging out with, and more!MoreLess

Yassuo on TikTok

For some reason, while he has a link from his Twitch channel to all of his other social media accounts mentioned so far, he does not have one to his TikTok channel. Why that is the case, truth be told, we have no idea. It could be an oversight, though we doubt it since he is pretty skilled in the social media realm. Whatever it is, however, it doesn't really matter.

What matters is the fact, that if you can follow him on TikTok if you want.

yassuo-tiktok©tiktok.com/@yassuoisme | MoreLess

Overall, the clips do not seem to be original content created for the platform, rather a compilation of the stuff he is doing elsewhere, like gambling or video gaming footage. That, by the way, could be the secret as to why he isn't so heavily promoting it. Though we all know a presence on TikTok is important to maintain.

While we haven't found any original content featured on Yassuo's TikTok account, it is a good venue for clips of his top gambling moments.

Yassuo on Discord

And finally, if you are into the Discord scene, then you can follow him there too. Right now he has just 22,313 followers there. But usually popular streamers don't have massive Discord numbers as it is not a platform that "everyone" is on, so we definitely won't judge him for that. If you want to follow Moe on Discord, simply fill in the short invite, direct from the site.

Yassuo's Estimated Net Worth

And now for the million-dollar question - at least based on how much these guys are assumed to earn - how much is Yassuo worth? The usual guesstimate thrown around is generally between $1M and $2M, which is pretty darn impressive for a guy in his early twenties. The exact figure is not known, despite the extensive research of our casino pro team, as this is not a matter of public record beyond the IRS we are assuming.

yassuo-mum-porsche©instagram.com/yassuo | We can't say for sure how much money Yassuo has. But we can say that it is enough to buy a Porsche for his mum!MoreLess

As to how he earns his money, he actually has a number of revenue streams. For example, he obviously generates revenue from his YouTube channel and Twitch channel respectively. Plus, he does sponsorships on Twitter, showcasing different products. In addition, there is the 100 Thieves store, where he makes money selling branded merchandise. And some people even make donations to him, in gratitude of the entertainment he provides, though with such high earnings in his own right, we aren't sure how much this generates.

How Much Does Yassuo Earn at Stake?

While all of those income sources have helped make Moe a wealthy man, there is also, needless to say the money he earns from playing at Stake. And it is possible he actually makes money there in two ways.

The first is in the manner any of us can make money gambling, which is by winning, though this shouldn't be considered earnings, even if it potentially pads his bank account.

money iconThe other, of course, is his partnership with Stake, which is either a monthly sum he receives or a percentage he gets on each referral code he promotes that is redeemed. Either way, we assume, it is a fairly hefty sum as he spends a lot of time playing at, and thereby endorsing Stake.

Are There Any Scandals Surrounding Him?

After following numerous streamers online, it has become abundantly clear that there is pretty much no such thing as a successful Twitch star who does not have some sort of controversy surrounding them. Certainly not in the gaming world, though there may be exceptions. As such, it will come as no surprise that there have been a number of scandals surrounding Yassuo over the years.

For example, at a number of points, there has been some public drama between him and his now ex-girlfriend Bella. There was even talk that he had been served with a cease and desist order. This turned out to not be true though, so don't believe everything you read about a celebrity online.

cancelIn 2020, he also had a short-lived controversy, when his charity stream was cancelled, for wishing cancer upon his teammate and her family during the stream. He was kidding, but it did not sit well with Twitch. And in this case, we can't really argue with them.

Finally, though not necessarily controversial, there have been some eyebrows raised after he inadvertently showed how much his Twitch followers had gambled through his promo code, onscreen, during a live stream. Some people were astounded by the number, which was in the millions over the course of a short time, though in all fairness, it was showing wagers rather than deposits, which are an entirely different ballpark. In any event, we are quite certain that he learned his lesson.

yassuo-rollbit-leak©twitch.tv/Yassuo | Here a screenshot of the live stream where Yassuo revealed the wagers placed by his followers.MoreLess

Conclusion

And that dear readers, in a nutshell is Mohammad (Moe) Abdalrhman, a.k.a. Yassuo. A young man who began climbing his way up in the eSports streaming world from his early adolescence, playing League of Legends from his childhood bedroom at his parents' place in New York. Today, he is a wealthy man in his own right, though you may not quite guess it from the background of his bedroom from where he often still streams.

Somewhat more reserved than some of the other streamers out there, Yassuo still has plenty of personality. Because while he certainly has impressive skill, you need to know how to entertain too in order to stand out in the streaming world. Beyond his large reach with over 2 million followers on Twitch - and impressive numbers on other social media platforms as well - he shows that he is capable of doing just that, on whichever channel he appears. And in more than one way, as he has continued to gain in popularity as he has expanded to adding casino play to his act too.

Whether or not you would like to follow him, is obviously a matter of personal taste. But overall, from our experience in watching streamers, we would say he has widespread appeal. He is definitely worth having a look for those who are curious, and certainly worth following for those who know quality slots streaming when they see it.
